LENTEN REGULATIONS
Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are obliged to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. In addition, all Catholics 14 years old and older must abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and all the Fridays of Lent.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
On Tuesdays in Lent Stations of the Cross will be in English during Adoration. On Fridays there will be Stations of the Cross in Polish at 7:30 p.m. and in Croatian at 8:00 p.m. Gorzkie Żale (Polish) will be at 10:40 a.m. Sunday before Mass.

RICE BOWL
CRS Rice Bowl is Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten faith-in-action program. It offers opportunities for your family to engage daily in the spiritual pillars of Lent: prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Rice Bowl proceeds help fund projects to increase food security in over 40 countries and to fund local poverty and hunger alleviation programs.

BISHOP STEINER 40TH ANNIVERSARY
Bishop Kenneth Steiner recently celebrated his 40th anniversary of ordination as an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Portland (March 2nd, 1978). He was ordained as a priest on May 19, 1962 and has worked in various parishes.

SOLEMNITY OF ST. JOSEPH – March 19th
St. Joseph is honored in the Church as Her universal patron, and this patronage is celebrated this year on March 19th. Adoration will be at 10 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m. in English and 7 p.m. in Polish.
