MOTHER TERESA FEAST DATE
The U.S. bishops have assigned a feast date to St. Teresa of Calcutta, founder of the Missionaries of Charity. The date would be Sept. 5th. It will be an optional memorial on the U.S. calendar. 
BEATIFICATION OF FR. JAN MACHA
A Polish Catholic priest (age 28) guillotined by the Nazis in 1942 was declared blessed on Nov. 20th at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Katowice. During the Nazi occupation in Poland, he offered aid to those who lost family members in the fighting. He was a member of an underground group, codenamed Konwalia (Lily of the Valley), that helped those in need, and he also published the underground newspaper Świt (Dawn).
CONVOCATION OF PRIESIN ARCHDIOCESE OF PORTLAND
On October 4-7, Fr. Peter will be attending the convocation of priests in Newport, Oregon with Archbishop Sample.
US BISHOPS HOLD IN PERSON GENERAL ASSEMBLY SINCE START OF PANDEMIC
This is the first in-person meeting of the bishops since November 2019. On the agenda is the 2021-2023 Synod of Bishops, the Eucharistic revival initiative, the approval of a national Eucharistic Congress in 2024 and a statement on the Eucharist, The Mystery of the Eucharist in the Life of the Church.
NEW PAINTINGS
The parish is commissioning paintings of Blessed Cardinal Wyszyński, who was beatified on September 12, 2021 and Michał Sopoćko, who was spiritual director of St. Faustina Kowalska. Thank you for donating for these paintings.
ADVENT CONFESSIONS
Confessions will be on Monday, December 13th from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, December 14th from 10 a.m.-noon. Fr. Euguene Bolda will be hearing confessions.
POLISH FOOD FOR SALE
Pierogi and Kielbasa are still available for sale. Price for cabbage and mushroom or potato and cheese pierogi is $5 per package or $6 for meat or fruit pierogi. Kielbasa is $1 per piece. Cakes are $10.00
FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
ALL DAY ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT from 10AM until 6:45PM. Holy Masses will be at 11AM (Eng.) and 7PM (Pol.).
SUNDAY EVENING ADORATION IN DECEMBER
During December, there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 6PM before Sunday evening Mass and confession during this time. The intention of Adoration is for new vocations to priesthood and religious life.
