SACRED HEART OF JESUS – June 28

The Feast of the Sacred Heart commemorates the love of the Sacred Heart in the Eucharist and is celebrated on the Friday after the Feast of Corpus Christi. There will be Adoration on Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. and Masses at 11 a.m. (English) and 7 p.m. (Polish).

JUNE DEVOTION TO THE SACRED HEART

During the month of June there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Litany to the Sacred Heart after Mass.

CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION – 23 June

On Sunday, June 23, Archbishop Alexander Sample, will celebrate Holy Mass at 2pm, followed by a procession of the Blessed Sacrament from the Cathedral in Portland with the Rosary in the North Park Blocks at 3-4pm. The event concludes with Benediction at St. Mary’s Cathedral at 4pm.

ORDINATION OF PRIESTS

Two priests, Peter Thomas Julia and Stephen Howard Francis Kenyon will be ordained in the Archdiocese of Portland on Saturday, June 15th at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. All the faithful are encouraged to participate and add their prayers of thanksgiving to God for this year’s new priests.
