DEVOTION TO THE DIVINE MERCY
Through St. Faustina, Our Lord gave us special means of drawing on His mercy.
The Image of the Divine Mercy – Jesus asked St. Faustina to have this vision painted along with the words, “Jesus, I trust in You!”
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy –Jesus told her that, if she prayed The Chaplet of Divine Mercy, her prayers would have great power for the conversion of sinners, for peace for the dying, and even for controlling nature.
Divine Mercy Sunday – Our Lord asked St. Faustina to pray and work towards establishing a Feast of Divine Mercy on the Sunday after Easter. He told her that “The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.”
The Novena Before Divine Mercy Sunday – In preparation for Divine Mercy Sunday, the Lord asked St. Faustina to make a novena of prayer from Good Friday to the following Saturday.
The Three O’Clock Hour – In His revelations to St. Faustina, Jesus asked for a special, daily remembrance at three o’clock, the very hour He died for us on the cross.
