ARCHBISHOP’S CATHOLIC APPEAL
This year’s goal for St. Stanislaus Parish is $6,173. As of April 6th, $7,050 been given to the archdiocese for this appeal. Thank you for helping us to reach our parish goal.

POPE FRANCIS ISSUES
APOSTOLIC EXHORTATION ON HOLINESS
Pope Francis released an apostolic exhortation in which he aims to “repropose” the universal call to holiness, which he says is the mission of life for every person. Published April 9, Gaudete et exsultate, or “Rejoice and be glad,” is Francis’ third apostolic exhortation. It is subtitled “On the call to holiness in the contemporary world.” The 44-page exhortation explains that holiness is the mission of every Christian, and gives practical advice for living out the call to holiness in ordinary, daily life, encouraging the practice of the Beatitudes and performing works of mercy.

83rd ANNUAL ARCHBISHOP’S SEMINARY TEA
The annual Archbishop’s Seminary Tea will take place on Wenesday, April 25th from 3-6 p.m. at the Portland Golf Club – 5900 SW Scholls Ferry Road. Admission is $38 and can be purchased at the Tea or at www.seminarytea.org. The Tea is a benefit for the education of seminarians who are preparing to serve in the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon.

MAY DEVOTIONS – BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
In May, after every Mass there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and litany to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
On Sunday, May 6, at 1:30pm catechists, children and parents will gather at the Black Madonna Shrine at the Grotto. On Monday, May 28th, at 6pm parishioners will gather at the Black Madonna Shrine at the Grotto to sing a litany and Polish Marian songs.
