BEGINNING OF ADVENT
DECEMBER 3

Advent begins on Sunday, December 3rd and is a preparation for the coming of Christ on Christmas.  There are four Sundays in Advent.

MEETING WITH SAINT NICHOLAS – Dec. 3

St. Nicholas will visit children and catechists in their religious education classes.

FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION DEC. 8TH  – HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION

The dogma of the Immaculate Conception was defined for the Church by Pius IX on Dec. 8, 1854. On Friday, December 8th, there will be Adoration at 10 a.m. and Masses will be at 11AM (Eng.), 7PM (Pol.) and 8PM (Cro.).

CONFESSIONS BEFORE CHRISTMAS
December 15-17th

Confession is an important preparation for the celebration of Christ’s birth. Confession opportunities will be on Friday, December 15th from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, December 16th from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, December 17th before the Masses. Fr. Stan Żak will be helping with confessions on these days.

ARCHBISHOP SAMPLE CHRISTMAS MASS

Archbishop Sample will be visiting our parish for Christmas this year and will be at the 11 a.m. Mass on Christmas Day.

Please bring donations to the Parish Hall: jackets, sleeping bags, blankets, socks, shoes, backpacks, hats, gloves, scarves, adult-sized jeans/pants, sweaters, Tri-Met tickets, travel-size shampoo, lotion & deodorant, canned tuna, peanut butter.
