SOCIETY OF CHRIST STUDY DAYS
Fr. Peter will be attending Society of Christ study days at the Duncan Conference Center in Delray Beach, Florida on Monday-Friday, February 5-9th.

ARCHBISHOP’S CATHOLIC APPEAL
This weekend is Commitment Weekend for the Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal. The Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal provides substantial financial support to essential ministries in our Catholic Church in western Oregon. If you did not receive a commitment card in the mail, pledge envelopes will be available in the church.

ASH WEDNESDAY – FEBRUARY 14
Ash Wednesday is the first day of the observance of the forty days of Lent. There will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 10am and there will also be three Masses: 11am (Eng.), 7pm (Pol.), 8pm (Cro.)

LENT FASTING AND ABSTINENCE
During Lent, Catholics age 14 and older must not eat meat on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays in Lent. Good Friday is also a day of fasting – all Catholics ages 18 to 59 may eat only one full meal and two smaller meals.
