40 DAYS FOR LIFE – Sept. 25 – Nov. 3
40 Days for Life is a cross-denominational, faith-based effort made up of key components: prayer and fasting to end abortion. More than 7,500 children have been reported as saved from abortion. So far, 40 days for Life been conducted in 502 communities and 19 nations.

ROSARY BOWL – Saturday October 5th
The 7th annual Rosary Bowl will be held on Saturday, October 5 at the Oregon State Fairgrounds Pavilion in Salem. It will take place from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm with Mass at 10:00 am.
The event includes: the Sacrament of Penance, the Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction. Free parking and admission; a free-will offering may be made. For more information see: www.rosarybowlnw.org.

The Convocation for Priests will be held from Monday, October 7 until Thursday, October 10 in Newport. No Masses on Tuesday and Wednesday.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY – October 20
On Oct. 20 World Mission Sunday will be celebrated. This year we are invited to act in solidarity with missionaries in India and throughout the world.
We will have a second collection that day.

POPE TO CELEBRATE FATIMA, VATICAN II ANNIVERSARIES
Pope Francis will take part in a Marian celebration commemorating the final apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. The event on Oct. 12 and 13 will also mark the 51st anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council and the dates of the last apparition of the Virgin Mary at Fatima, Portugal.

Saint Luke Productions will perform their play, Faustina: Messenger of Divine Mercy on Saturday, October 19 at 7PM in St. Stanislaus Church. There is no set admission, but a free-will offering will be accepted to cover expenses.
