LENT FASTING AND ABSTINENCE
During Lent, Catholics age 14 and older must not eat meat on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays in Lent. Good Friday is also a day of fasting – all Catholics ages 18 to 59 may eat only one full meal and two smaller meals.

NEW AUXILIARY BISHOP FOR PORTLAND
Fr. Peter Smith’s ordination as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Portland will take place on April 29 at 2PM in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
